Markus lebt mit seinen Eltern Ruth und Fred in einem kleinen Tal. An einem ganz gewöhnlichen Tag schickt seine Mutter ihn wie immer zu seinem Vater, der Jäger ist und auf einem Hügel lebt, um ihm ein Paket mit dem täglichen Nahrungsbedarf zu geben. Doch als Markus bei seinem Vater ankommt, merkt er, dass etwas nicht stimmt und es tritt eine schreckliche Wendung auf!
